As the political marathon pulls on to the homestretch, the electorates are beginning to crystallise their choices. A look at the homeground of the people in the 2023 political ring begins to give insight into how this all important election might play out. NigeriaOnline24’s VOTERS VOICE has taken a dive into what the Anioma Electorates voting  pulse is looking like, considering that one of Anioma’s political elite son (Gov Ifeanyi Okowa) is jointly on the ballot as the Peoples Democratic Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate. To a perplexing extent, the People of Anioma do not seem to be swayed by the fact that they have their son in the arena. Below are few of the people’s responses on the quest to support Anioma son in 2023 Presidential election:

” our Anioma son didn’t remember us as a governor for 8 years , thank God for BVAS, it is payback time. We will use him to teach other Anioma sons that will find themselves in leadership a lesson They should stop calling us fools. Peter Obi is a better son than Okowa.” ~ Emeke Okie

“In as much as I am from Delta North geographically, am not from Anioma politically comes 2023 general elections o. Okowa should tell us if he has been carrying development (if any) equally among anioma region. He mostly concentrated all in his local govt/race. He should expect votes from his race not all anioma pls. What goes around comes around! We stand with the Asaba declaration that power is coming to the south and we will obidiently achieve it.” ~Chukwudi Fidelis

“All I seen concerning those supporting okowa and atiku is that they only do that because of their stomach . If okowa has done well as a governor, his good deeds will speak for him . No need to beg people to support him . For me a new Nigeria is coming but not through the old order of APC and PDP. ” ~ Ogechukwu Ezeanah

“Well he really made a little effort as governor of Delta State even though you didn’t do anything to help ogwashi Uku to solve the problem of water scarcity,I will ensure you that PDP will retain Delta State but for presidential election better forget about it, Peter Obi is our next president.”~ Dennis Nwapani

While something might change before the elections, it remains to be seen how much could possibly change and what is likely to change.
