Rev Oliver Nwoko has written an open letter congratulating the newly sworn in commissioner for Technical Education in Delta state, Hon Smart Ufoh.

Rev Nwoko, the son of the late second republic politician and House of Assembly member in the old Bendel state, was magnanimous with encouragement, in an open letter made available to the Media. “The slot you occupy is for the entire Aniocha South, let your office be open to all from Nsukwa clan, Ubulu clan and Ogwashi uku Kingdom,” he said.

Dear Sir,
Congratulations on your appointment, screening, swearing in and assumption of office. God used a lot of people to bring you to this position and to him alone be the glory which he shares with no one.
As you settle down, may you be divinely guided in all you do in Jesus name.
The slot you occupy is for the entire Aniocha South, let your office be open to all from Nsukwa clan, Ubulu clan and Ogwashi uku Kingdom. Let your appointment of personal aides reflect this spread.
Resist the temptation to be appropriated by a single individual or group of persons. May you be divinely guided to avoid old animosities. Your people were marginalised but don’t go on a vengeance mission but rather show how it ought to be.
Your certificate may have played a role in your successful screening and appointment but it is your ‘sabificate’ that will keep you in the State Executive Council. Do not hesitate to ask for counsel when need be. Versatility is of essence in your contributions during exco meetings.
Be assured we will be praying for you to succeed in Jesus name. Once again, congratulations dear Honourable Commissioner, Odua of Nsukwa.

Rev Oliva Van Nwoko
