NDDC APPOINTMENTS: IBORI’S DUG MIGHT BE CHANGING THE COLOUR OF NEW DELTA POLITICS

EBIE, IGBUYA IN NDDC BOARD

 

If there is anytime to take appraisal of the former governor of Delta state, and the strong boss of Delta Politics, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, now is a good time as any. With the appointment of some notable leaders in Delta Unity Group, Mr Chiedu Ebie and Rt Hon Monday Igbuya, the return of the big boss is well anounced.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Board and Management team of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The new Board and Management team members are:

Mr. Chiedu Ebie – Chairman – Delta
Dr. Samuel Ogbuku – Managing Director / CEO – Bayelsa
Mr. Boma Iyaye – Executive Director (Finance and Admin) – Rivers
Mr. Victor Antai – Executive Director (Projects) – Akwa-Ibom
Ifedayo Abegunde – Executive Director (Corporate Services) – Ondo.

Others are Sen. Dimaro Denyanbofa – State Representative – Bayelsa;
Mr. Abasi Ndikan Nkono – State Representative – Akwa Ibom;
Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya – State Representative – Delta;
Chief Tony Okocha – State Representative – Rivers; and
Hon Patrick Aisowieren – State Representative – Edo.

Also appointed are Mr. Kyrian Uchegbu – State Representative – Imo; Victor Kolade Akinjo – State Representative – Ondo; Chief Dimgba Eruba – State Representative – Abia;
Mr. Asu Oku Okang – State Representative – Cross River; Hon. Nick Wende – Zonal Representative – North Central; Hon. Namdas Abdulrazak – Zonal Representative – North East; andSen. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir – Zonal Representative – North West.

In a state house statement released on Wednesday and signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) President Bola Tinubu charges the new Board and Management team to ensure a new era of successful administration in the NDDC, in line with his Renewed Hope agenda. The appointments take immediate effect, he added.
